On March 30, 2015, House Bill 91 was passed that stated high school students are no longer required to pass the Georgia High School Graduation Test or the Georgia High School Writing Test in order to receive a diploma. Students who did not get a diploma because of not passing the graduation test or the writing test are now eligible to get their diploma if they completed all other requirements and credits.

Any student from 1981-2015 who did not get a diploma due to not passing the Georgia High School Graduation Test and/or Georgia High School Writing Test should contact the Franklin Co. Board of Education at 706-384-4554 or come by our office at 280 Busha Rd. Carnesville, Ga. for more information.
