Franklin County Schools are seeking substitute teachers. We would like to invite you to attend a FREE substitute teacher training class on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from 9:00-12:30 at the Franklin County Board of Education office located at 280 Busha Road, Carnesville, GA.  The class will inform you on what to expect on a typical day in the classroom, as well as how to manage any challenges that may arise.

Substitute teaching can be rewarding for individuals looking to make a difference in children's lives.  It is also a job that allows someone a flexible work schedule and the ability to work just about as much or as little as they want to.  Substitute teachers are valuable to Franklin County Schools to ensure classroom learning continues in the absence of a teacher or paraprofessional.  It is our desire to have the best-qualified substitutes to serve the students of our school district.

Requirements for substitute teaching are listed on our website at  Click on Human Resources, then on Substitute Employment.  For further information and to pre-register for this class please call 706-384-4554, ext. 11330.

We appreciate your interest in substitute teaching in Franklin County Schools.
