Transfer Requests are dependent on available classroom space and are not a guarantee. Decisions will be made after the majority of summer enrollments have been completed.
Each student wishing to transfer to another school in the Franklin County School System must have an application submitted. Click here to access the online application. ALL applications must be submitted by the July 15, 2019, 4:00 PM deadline to be considered.
Admin Rule, effective 2017-2018 school year:
Any Franklin County student who is identified as living outside of district lines within a current school year will be allowed to stay enrolled in that school until the end of the school year based upon the principal's approval. However, no transportation will be provided to any student described as living outside of district lines as defined by the FCSS, and the student must enroll in their correct district school before attending the FCSS the following school year.
Granted requests allow the student to complete all grades at that school. The parent shall assume the responsibility and cost of transportation of the student to and from the school.
The Board of Education will always keep siblings in the same elementary school as long as they are both attending at the same time.
