Kindergarten Online Enrollment
Opens March 1, 2021
1) On or after March 1st, click HERE and follow the prompts. Be sure to choose Next Year 2021-2022 as the enrollment year. (There have been some issues with attempting to complete this application on a phone. PLEASE USE A COMPUTER to complete the application).
2) Once you have completed the enrollment, wait for an email conformation with instructions to schedule an appointment to come in and finalize the enrollment. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only one parent/guardian per student should attend this appointment. Please do not bring your child to the appointment. Kindergarten Readiness assessments will be scheduled at a later date by each school. Your child will be assessed at the school in which he/she will attend.
*Acceptable proofs must include parent/guardian name and current physical address, such as: deed, notarized lease/rental agreement, utility bill, property tax receipts, current homeowners insurance policy, or official postmarked mail.
You can upload these using online registration and bring with you to your appointment.
You WILL NOT be able to register if you do not have all above documents.
Children must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2021, to be eligible to register. Except for students with an IEP, all students must be potty trained by the first day of school.
Franklin County Schools only accepts out of county students that live within the city limits of Royston. If you wish to apply to be an out of county tuition payer, do not complete the online enrollment process. Click here to apply.

*Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-150, before the final enrollment of a student to a publicly-funded Georgia school is complete, a parent, guardian, or other person shall provide a copy of the enrolling student’s social security number to the proper school authorities or shall complete and sign a form stating the individual does not wish to provide the social security number. Enrollment will not be denied if a parent does not provide a social security number. Social security numbers are used by the Department of Education for means of identifying students for FTE funding and/or for tracking transient students.
