Kindergarten Enrollment Opens June 13th, 2022

The Franklin County School System USES Infinite Campus's Online Registration system. Please click here to begin your application on or after April 11th. Registration will be open from June 13th - July 31st. Please see registration requirements below.

To ensure your child is assigned to a school and scheduled for July Readiness Test, please register as early as possible


2) Click on the blue icon labeled New Online Registration and follow the prompts.

3) Once you have completed the enrollment, wait for an email confirmation with instructions to complete the enrollment. Please note: It is best to use a computer to register as problems have been reported when using a smartphone.

Required Documents

You can:

1) Upload these during the registration process or

2) Email them to: (please include your child’s name in the email) or

3) Bring them to the FCSS Central Office.

Please have ALL required documents submitted within 10 days to assure your application is complete.

Students will not be assigned to a school or given an appointment for The Kindergarten Readiness test until all documents have been received and the application is complete.

  • Birth Certificate

  • Social Security Card

  • Immunization Records

  • Guardianship Papers (if applicable)

  • 3 Current Proofs of Residence* (must be dated within the previous 90 days)

*Acceptable proofs must include parent/guardian name and current physical address, such as: deed, notarized lease/rental agreement, utility bill, property tax receipts, current homeowners insurance policy, or official postmarked mail.

Franklin County Schools WILL NOT accept any out-of-county students except for those that live within the city limits of Royston. In addition, it is required that all students attend the school in their district. Questions about district lines can be directed to the Transportation Department (706-384-4554 ext. 11349).

Children must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2022, to be eligible to register.

Except for students with an IEP, all students must be potty trained by the first day of school.

*Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 20-2-150, before the final enrollment of a student to a publicly-funded Georgia school is complete, a parent, guardian, or other person shall provide a copy of the enrolling student’s social security number to the proper school authorities or shall complete and sign a form stating the individual does not wish to provide the social security number. Enrollment will not be denied if a parent does not provide a social security number. Social security numbers are used by the Department of Education for means of identifying students for FTE funding and/or for tracking transient students.
